Local Restaurants & Places to Eat around Hastings

Webbe's Rock-a-Nore

1 Rock-A-Nore Rd, Hastings TN34 3DW, UK – 01424 721650

Menu had some nice options. Scallop starter was a little underwhelming, looked better than it tasted. Steak (£17) was excellent but expensive and paying an extra £3 for the chips to go with it was a bit of a joke. It was busy so service was a little slow, this wasn't a major issue but staff weren't very attentive other than bringing food/collecting plates. We had one drink but despite finishing it quickly were not offered anymore. Probably a better experience on quieter days.

I highly recommend this place. This is a cool restaurant with fantastic fresh fish and sea food. Me and my boyfriend shared 5dish taster plate and we were full and happy afterwards. Homemade bread was also amazing! We had a great meal just under 20£ but the quality, presentation and services are worth 5stars. Thank you:)

St Clement's Restaurant

3 Mercatoria, St Leonards, Saint Leonards-on-sea TN38 0EB, UK – 01424 200355

A great restaurant. We had a lovely meal here. The food is delicious, fresh and seasonal. The cooking is simple, sophisticated and skillfull. It was difficult to pick from the menu as it all sounded great, and happily everything we ordered was spot on. Our waitress was charming and helpful. I will definitely be back.

All the dishes were so simple, but amazing. The ingredients were so fresh. The summer asparagus with poached egg is a must.

Taylor's Seafood and Burger Restaurant

1-2 Sturdee Place, Hastings TN34 3AJ, UK – 01424 258563

Really lovely place! First came two years ago and have been wanting to return since then. Came both eves of a two night trip to Hastings this week! Relaxed atmosphere, super friendly service and delish food. Well priced too, feels like you can go a bit mad without worrying..! Or maybe that’s just me ☺️

Definitely the best meal I had in 3 days in Hastings. Food is really tasty, reasonably priced (comparing to a similar meal in London) and the staff was extremely helpful, informing us about every detail of the menu and we've never had to wait for anything too long. Also, they played great music. Definitely will come back.
